Renoir Kobashi lives where concert music collides with pop culture: choral voices, analog tech, old VHS tapes, paperback novels, stage lights, and spare motorcycle parts.
The diplomas say Krishan Oberoi (so do some of the scores). That version of him got kicked out of private school at 16, found his way to Yale on a full scholarship, sang his way around Europe, and eventually wandered into Japan’s synth underground.
